Stan Berenstain
When I was growing up, the Berenstain Bear books were an institution in my house. I read them thousands of times (and that's no exaggeration) to my younger sisters, and even reached the point where I had memorized whole books. So, when I just read that co-author Stan Berenstain had died, I was a bit stunned. Those books seemed so alive, so how can one of the authors be dead?I don't have any of the books in my house anymore, but when/if I have kids, the books will most definitely make a return.
