EVIL/ENEMY ALIEN THEORIES

PIERCE AS AN EVIL/ENEMY ALIEN

For many of us, one of the best things about watching Roswell is trying to figure out what motivates a character. Few characters in the Roswell storyline provoke such strong opinions as Agent Pierce. As the episodes from Season One unfolded: we learn that he's an alien hunter, we learn that he's head of the FBI special unit, we learn that he's close to the podsters--closer than anyone has ever been.

Here's Pierce's Timeline in Roswell.

Here's Qfanny's list of clues that point to Pierce as a possible alien:

1) Pierce takes pictures of Michael, Max, Isabel, Alex, and Maria during the Blind Date episode. Those pictures are later fed to Max via virtual reality during Max's debriefing.

2) Sexual Healing: FBI sets up a hidden camera in Michael's apartment. He tapes a conversation of Max and Isabel talking about Liz's visions and Nasedo.

3) Debriefs Topolsky: Pierce sends Toposky to "hell and back". Topolsky is frightened out of her mind. Agent Stephens dies--killed by Pierce to 'set an example to the other special agents,' according to Topolsky

4)Crazy: Topolsky returns to Roswell and warns the podsters/humans about Pierce. Pierce trys to get Alex into a limousine. Pierce later captures Topolsky and says, "Congratulations, you led me right to them."

5) Tess, Lies, and Videotape: Max and Michael discover the hidden camera; Liz plants the camera on Harding and Tess. Could this be what Pierce really wanted? Could Tess and Harding be the "them" Pierce seeks?

6) Max to the Max: Pierce shows up under the pseudonym of Deputy Fischer. Captures Max.

7) The White Room: Pierce refers to the shapeshifter--the one that escaped--as 'Nasedo.' How would he know this if he wasn't the one watching the tape of Michael and Isabel? This sets Pierce's presence in Roswell long before his appearance as Deputy Fischer.

8) Destiny: Pierce is killed by Michael, and Harding assumes his identity.

Clue 1:
We learn that there were four aliens in the crash. Two died in the crash. Two were captured, one (Nasedo) escaped. The other died after 3 years of torture. Or did he?? Nasedo essentially died too in Destiny, but the stones allowed him to be revived. Tess says, "Nasedo can't die." If Nasedo can't
die, wouldn't that be true for the other orginal three? This sort of gives the willies to think about MMIT looking around for a lost grave, but that's what archeologists do. Could this be a tie in to Grandma Claudia and Doug
Shelow? Could Pierce be one of the orginal four, perhaps a political spy?
He knows a lot about the crash and is desperate to have Max activate the communicators. Why does he care so much about the orbs if he is just an alien hunter?

Clue 2:
Max says, "Who's inhuman now?"
This comment compliments Mommogram's statement, "You will know your enemy by the evil within." Max's comment could be foreshdowing.

Clue 3:
After the Sheriff shot Pierce, Pierce reached up for the hand scanner and slammed his hand on the monitor but it wouldn't open for him. I think everyone assumes it's because of the blood on his hand that it won't open.
Got to thinking about this, but the scanner scans for BONE structure. I don't see why blood would interfere with an x-ray. Could it be that Pierce is like Nasedo and has a bone structure far from human?

In Destiny:

Clue 4:
When the Sheriff enters his office and Pierce is there waiting almost.
Pierce says, "If you came to kill me, I'll be replaced within 24 hours."
Valenti says, "If I wanted to kill you, you'd already be dead."
Pierce says, "That's not how it looked last night when you put a bullet 6 inches away from my heart."

There is something inhuman about Pierce's recovery. Pierce doesn't even look injured--no sling or apparent bandage.

Clue 5:
Pierce says something like,
"I'm protecting my country, my planet from colonization."
How can we be sure Pierce is talking about Earth here, much less the USA? The Mommogram later makes reference to a form of civil war on the podsters' other home planet. Note that Pierce says "my planet," not "Earth."

Clue 6:
Sheriff says, "What about the civilians?"
Pierce says, "There's always a price to pay for freedom."
Whose freedom are they talking about? MMIT are not keeping people in a cage
anywhere. Roswellians have nothing to be afraid of from them.
