Using his commanding alien powers, Max forces a Hollywood mogul - in reality a mysterious alien shape shifter going by the name of Kal Langley - to exploit his military connections in order to locate the spacecraft that brought them to earth. Together, Max and Kal undertake a dangerous journey as they seek to learn of the fate of Tess and his son.
