During a one-year span starting in February 2015, I hope to do the following three dozen things. Here is the explanatory post that kicked it all off, though the short version is simply that I might very well be insane.
- See Alcatraz Island at night
- Invest in the stock market
- Take a swimming lesson (Update: Done March 19, 2015)

- Take a weekend off all electronics
- Eat in a nice restaurant by myself
- Send three dozen real letters/notes
- Visit a new-to-me local museum. (This was originally “See the Grace Cathedral rainbows in San Francisco” but I didn’t realize in time that it was a temporary exhibit that ended three weeks after I started this project.)

- Learn how to refinish my nightstand (and do it)
- Hike Mt. Tamalpais (Update: Done June 14, 2015.)
- Donate blood (Update: Done March 14, 2015.)
Love these. I can help with #3. #7–totally a fun class, make K10 go with you. #8-Try CorePower studio, fun, great music, not stuffy, and use my name on your referral card :). #9–Go to places for recipes (Nom Nom Paleo, Oh She Glows and Against All Grain). #13–easier than you’d think! I need to do #18. #25–Day 1 and 2 will suck but by Day 4-7 you will be loving life!
Alisa, I’ll go check out those recipe websites! And I’d love input about how to actually avoid sugar. The weekend off electronics sounds scary and liberating — and I’m looking into rentals on the coast because that would be a fun way to do it. (And I would allow my garmin…)
